Ranch before the block was demolished
The set was previously used for Wandavision. Agatha lives in the house used in the TV series Bewitched (1964). Posted by WatchMojo: The 10 Most Shocking Revelations From Disney Plus Day (2021) I came into Agatha All Along with no preconceived notions or story in mind. So it wasn’t until I dug in and watched episode 6 (?) that I realized it had a connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe – specifically WandaVision.
I felt cheated and angry
Well, after getting engaged to Agatha All Along, I put that aside and had to watch WandaVision. While WandaVision has major elements like the Agatha All Along storyline, it’s pretty tangential (and – IMO – a much lesser show than Agatha All Along). It gets no exposure credit. The acting is excellent and Hahn as Agatha is exceptional.
And it doesn’t take away from the overall performance
The set pieces have an unusual pace, a fresh perspective as the show progresses. First of all, the trials and growth the characters go through are well done. The show maintains an engaging and mature storyline, without the usual sugarcoating where everyone ends up happy in the end. While I don’t think the MCU connection is necessary, it is what it is.
I would probably watch a second season if there is one
